  1. I saw again that documentary I have about gorillas, and I wasn't wrong,it sais all natives had started to like gorillas and protect them cos they attracted so many tourists in the area. Why did they start again to hunt them??It's really disappointing
  2. News guys...now we have 63 people burnt and more than 30 missing...I say arsonists must face death sentence, they don't have any right to live...
  3. Well,this is me... :)
  4. Most amusing I dare say...lol...it's nice!
  5. Will it be your first time or you have tried it before?I want to know what it's like, though I am not that interested in doing it myself
  6. I have seen many shocking videos and pictures myself, but I am shock everytime... So is there a petition or something?I am not good at searching things,so if anyone finds a petition about gorillas please inform me...
  7. I'm so sorry for your house daim, and for all those properties burnt...But those people who were burnt...I don't know what to say...
  8. They are right,it is a small victory...Of course we can't expect whale population to reach former figures, but it's ok.
  9. I just came back from vacations and I was literaly crying all the way home...Now we have 60 dead people, many villages are cut out and the whole population is in danger of getting burnt alive...I couldn't be more sad
  10. I didn't know anything about the subject anyway, but it seems that we think many things to be good, but they are actually quite harmful...
  11. Wow guys,I didn't know you were all so handsome !!lol!! I will post a photo of mine when I go back to athens...
  12. Yeah,Daim wanted to built a windmill for a long time..lol Here in greece there are lots of windmills, but they are old ones, people used them decades ago or something...And there are very few that are currently used to provide energy... It's really bad,we should use all those winds blowing in our country to produce energy...But noone takes them seriously
  13. Nice info Simon. -When going at the beach make sure you don't leave any litter around -Propose that bins are put in all beaches -Argue with any as***le who litters the beach
  14. I totally agree with Daim...Most teachers are like most teachers, they can't see how this presentation might help others to understand vital things...You definately have to try and do it.
  15. I can't get it,gorillas bring many tourists in those areas, natives were supposed to have understood this and be careful not to harm them... They were supposed to be looking after them, what the... I am too mad right now to say anything else, that picture is really shocking...
  16. I was really impressed by the way he spoke...It was really cool.I think this is the way I'm going to be talking from now on... I hope many people were convinced by his speech
  17. Of course we must show such pictures and videos to all our friends.I made a stupid friend of mine stop buying leather products be showing her how they extract the coat of a still alive racoon... Showing such pictures and videos is an excellent way of persuading, just talking to people wont do!
  18. Hey,let me welcome you as well... Though guys,I have to ask all new members not to open a new thread just to say hello....those we already have are nice enough...otyherwise we will be full of threads of just saying hello and welcome...lol
  19. Yeah, our rivers are just too dtrong,we only do some rafting in some of them..Swimming is just too dangerous.Fortunately they are at least suitable for other sports.
  20. Too bad indeed, though we should have predicted it...It's surely going to cost us a lot,the fact that we don't take climate change seriously... As for the iceburgs, they melt so fast that polar bears are surely going to be extinct within the next few years, and many other species along with them... Shall I say that we must act now,or is it needless to say?
  21. Basketball, soccer etc need courts, lights and staff,so they are surely not very environmental friendly. Jogging needs less, and mountaineering as well...Shortly,those sports that don't demand facilities and energy to be carried out
  22. So it's actually true!I never believed it whenever I heard that large companies can do this...It's terrible. And it surely has a great impact on environment. Those companies pollute the environment while making their products, with political power they can persuade their government not to take measures against their actions.Too bad...
  23. Yeah!Jogging is pretty cool too,if you hace nice parks near yous place..
  24. I'll have it in mind,thx!
  25. And if you can't help it and want to buy water on bottle, buy only those made by glass, not by plastic!!! -Reduce the plastic you buy, prefer biological materials etc
