Really?Do we actually use fish as a food for those animals?I thought we gave fish only to cats...That is really bad,are u sure of it?

You actually did it then,a new thread about armadillos!!So nice of you,I think I could talk about this animal for hours,and it's weird since I have never seen it but in pictures! Is there anybody in this forum who has actually seen armadillos?Cos I really wanna know how it is to touch them etc...I've fallen in love with this animal ! Yeah,and it's quite effective too.Though I highly suggest you not to have ceiling fans in kitchens,we do,and when we cook it uses the hot air,bringing no positive effect...In other rooms it's very agreeable!!

Because it is very cute!Anyway,it's claws are so strong that it can unroot small trees,so it must have a bad impact on fields. Ooops!We are far away from the topic I guess...Better stop this armadillo convertation or new members will be confused...We are suppose to introduce ourselves here...

No,it doesn't my friend...It consumes the energy that is consumed by a simple light bulb...So it's much of an energy saver!Many times less energy than an aircondition,and the air is healthy!

Not as much as this one though...It's the bigger which likes to digg in fields!And farmers have a really bad time due to it!Many others have armadillos as pets though...

I have a feeling though,that those pirate fishermen or others who perform botoom trawling,have found ways to make governments ignore their actions..By giving money under the table,or sth like that...And let's not forget that as long as people demand to have fish on their table,fishermen will continue to overfish them... I say that a law is needed which will state that no fish is to be consumed for six months,or sth like that...By this way fish would have time to breed normally...And during this time,fishermen out of business would be paid by their nations...Difficult measure to be taken eh?

An article I read yesterday stated that smoker rates are declining in Britain,but drug users and alcoholics are increasing...Maybe that measure was too sudden to be taken,and people found other ways to do sth bad...I dunno... Here we still have commercials about drinks on TV...but it's not serious,we mostly have problem with the smokers rates

I totally agree with that part which sais that Bush wants to draw attention to other environmental issues not so important.And I am definately sure he won't say anything to those guys about their harming the environment..No action will be taken by Bush,I'm sure of it!(maybe I do have a small hope,but I don't intend to be hopeful,Bush always disappoints people!)

It's not endanger to becoming extinct,if that's what you are asking...Though it only lives in America,all 9 species of it.Fortunately,people haven't found a way to abuse it's virtues,they find that it is useless,if not annoying,cos some times it can destroy fields with its like to digging!!

The aircondition also consumes great amounts of electricity,so much more carbon dioxide is emmited in the air...They are effective when it comes to warming or cooling a room,but they are so pollutant...A ceiling fan is more appropriate...Greenpeace has some nice commercials launched only about ceiling fans...

We are lucky not to have commercials about cigarettes on TV,but there are still plenty of them in newspapers etc..what about other countries?Has anything been done to stop commercials?

Even if it is banned in some countries you have surely heard of pirate fishing...Whatever governments have said about bottom trawling,I know for sure that nothing special has been done to stop it

It did happen actually,in one island,and some guys at the hospital had a really bad time...They should do sth about houses and other industries...make them use less electricity...I dunno

That's right...But it has to start at last..In Britain they have taken pretty nice steps...Quite strict..I hope sth like that would happen here as well.

Here in greece priests have better things to do than thinking of the environment...How to make money etc...most of them try to control people so that they give money to churches and staff. God was supposed to have said that human had the rensponsibility of taking care of the environment.But priests don't highlight that point cos they have other things in mind,so people who believe them don't see the point either...Pity,cos we could use the power and influence of church to make people aware of the environmental problems...

I think it should be banned too,but I also think of those people who can't cut down on it,you know it's really hard...And there would also be a problem with all these industries who produce cigarettes..so many people will lose there jobs...It can't happen just like that...
