President Hollande wants to create a public debate on the future of nuclear energy in France. This list is highly weighted for the pollution's proximity to human populations, such as cities. So as long as you do your polluting away from big cities, you won't rank very high. Bayer Group is number one, and most of their pollution comes from ONE factory.

Huh!?! Nuclear power is not a reliable energy source and it has a huge ecological footprint which we could all see from the fukushima nuclear accident.

This might be a bit of a stretch. But i think you could add Fallout to your list of games. Its about life after a nuclear world war.

Instead of fireworks we had a few beautiful rice lamps on new years eve. We also tried to use as much organic food as possible. And we recycled everything too!

The Fukushima nuclear horror was THE single most important story from 2011. So this list is no surprise for me really. But i find it funny that there is such a variation among the top ten posts.
