  1. A cigarette also produces great quantities of carbon dioxide and other chemicals...Moreover,when it's thrown in water,it pollutes it with nicotine, that's why the water turns yellow.I've seen so many times on the streets birds drinking this polluted water, and crabs and small fish leaving in small ponds full of nicotine near the sea..It's just too unhealthy from every aspect. Not just for our health, but for the greenhouse effect and the health of many other animals.
  2. I guess you all have heard of bottom trawling..Check this link to find out more about it's effects on marine life...at the bottom of the page. http://www.greenpeace.org/international ... -hard-evid. So much damage caused to the see bed and the population of every marine species cannot be repaired unless this technique is banned.
  3. Really interesting photo,it shows you things you thought you knew...But you get to understand them much better when looking at it..Sad isn't it?
  4. I play basketball as well,I'm in a team for six years...But I'm out this year, due to my studying...Sports are really important for your health etc...
  5. Hi Diane and welcome. I'm a little surprised, don't be offended, but i thought you were a boy because of the nickname. In Portuguese normally names ended in "o" are masculine and ended in "a" are feminine, that's reason of my confusion. Sorry
