I think this quote by Nnimmo Bassey, a Nigerian activist who received the Right Livelihood Award in 2010, is spot on: “This is very shocking. I never knew that they had so much of this kind of investment. If this is a charity that really care about the health of the people, they ought not to be investing in fossil fuel industries. They should pull back their resources from this sector completely.” -

Wind power continues to beat nuclear energy in China

This couldn't have been done if China had focused solely on nuclear energy. Renewable energy sources are capable of being deployed much faster and on a bigger scale than any other energy source. Renewables will save the climate while nuclear will continue to be a dangerous side project in the world. -
