Hi everyone!

I'm new here and am just trying to spread the word about some new green transportation.

I thought you might be interested in checking out some really eco-friendly electric bikes. I am trying to promote them and they are a great way to go green. I just got a couple myself.

They can all go ~20-25 miles on a single charge at 20-25mph.

At baseline CA PG&E prices they can charge fully for only $0.18.

That's like paying less than a penny a mile.

Compare them to a car getting 20mpg, with gas costing $4.50 in CA where I live, which costs ~$0.22 a mile.

Comparing the electric bikes to that they get the equivalent of 440MPG.

And it the right setting, a college campus they would be an ideal mode of transportation, however the limited range really limits their application at this time....

I live in a city and unfortunately, it's quite dangerous to drive that since we don't have bike lanes. However, I've tried this in Japan last November and was quite impressed with how comfortable they are to use. For sure more people, especially in developed countries, have been inclined to use those.
