  1. The concerns are for the year 2100, but we don't have that long! Last year, we didn't have much of a hurricane season, but Florida saw more tornados over the winter. We had tornados on Christmas Day, something that never happened before. We remained in a drought, even with what was supposed to be a beneficial El Nino! You should read the articles I wrote regarding this on the Climate of our Future Blog. It's quite a story, and will be one that I will be talking about for some time now.
  2. Yeah, I hear you loud and clear about Greece. Awful!
  3. The whole Florida thing is why I'm doing all of this It's is interesting that you'd ask. It's confusing because there's a lot to cover! It's confusing because of what is making it all happen and what, if anything, can be done about it. There's no doubt that climate change is happening, but I just can't understand why people stick their heads in the sand when the writing's been on the wall for some time now! Florida, like the many islands, will be the firsts to feel the impacts of climate change. That's why I have a link to my Florida Weather Group here too! If you all wish to join so as to keep track of what's going, send me an E-Mail and I will add you directly! Florida's way too important in this whole ordeal to overlook!
  4. I am glad you are happy!
  5. Not a problem! By the way, great site! I'm having lots of fun over here!
  6. Well, I'll see what I can do. I've been rather busy lately, but I'll see what I can do.
  7. Basically, in a nutshell, there were wires cut to one of the space shuttles. Crazy, isn't it? I'll have to reread some things about it and send along some links for you guys to look at.
  8. No, they haven't! At least not as I've heard anyway. Quite an embarrassing time for NASA right now. Don't know what they're gonna do!
  9. Yes, NASA is in Florida! That's where the launches take place from. The other location for NASA is in Houston, Texas, USA.
  10. I appreciate that! By the way, if were wondering, Sanford, Florida is located in the United States. It's interesting to see the time stamps 4 hours ahead of my location. I'm on New York time in case you were wondering. I've got to say that it's thanks to technology that we'd all vbe communicating this way. The beauty of the Internet, joining the world together in ways not previously done. A global connection with a global cause.
  11. Either way, I'm glad you see I have a place here. Thanks for accepting me!
  12. Hello Daim, Well, they'd seen my work on a previous site and wanted me to write for them over here as well! How exciting! I agree, we should all contribute something, even if it's our time. That's why I talk about the weather so much, because it's educating folks. I'm no big expert, but some how God has given me a mission in this area. Interesting!
  13. Thank you so much Dain! I am gonna do what I can to help make things write. You'll see me on Green Blog as a contributor. How Exciting!
