Hello everyone!

I'm Rachel and I'm one of the younger of the 'going green' movement. It wasn't until recently that I started to get involved in making more earth friendly choices, such as remembering to bring the reusable bags to the super market. Recently I started to hang around people that are all for this green stuff and, I must admit, it has rubbed off on me. Then I read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver which opened my eyes to local foods and a different sense of green. After that I wanted to get more information so I turned to renting the Living with Ed series and was fascinated with his way of living. Both of these sources have inspired me to grow an organic garden this year. Therefore, I'm a little bit of a newbie when it comes to this green stuff.

I'm looking forward to talking to everyone and learning more about becoming more green!
