Last year, I gave my friends and family packs of 8 energy saving light bulbs...even gave some to strangers how gave me weird looks in the subway for carrying huge bags of light bulbs.

This year, I'm thinking of getting these "Saving Smart Strip With Autoswitching Technology"

Supposed to save power by cutting for power to printer, monitor, and adapters when CPU is turned off. Anybody have better thoughts?

Well, my family have never celebrated christmas by buying loads of presents.

In the early christmas we simply couldn't afford to buy many presents.

Now we all dislike the shopping holiday it has become. We usually only buy ourself one present or something big for all of us.

I personally could live without all the presents and spend all the money on good/organic food for christmas.

But I know what I am going to buy this christmas. A DVD-set, 3 books and a few trees.
