How can the people of USA just sit by idly when the Democrats and Republicans sign a debt ceiling bill into law that contains no tax increase for the rich and wealthy. Instead the new debt ceiling bill, that Obama just signed, means that the country will have to face rather extreme amounts of spending cuts in the public sector.

For me this is just madness.

But maybe these eight points can explain how the conservative political elite in the USA have successfully managed to crush political resistance and why the youth in America isn't fighting back against politics that are hurting them:

"Traditionally, young people have energized democratic movements. So it is a major coup for the ruling elite to have created societal institutions that have subdued young Americans and broken their spirit of resistance to domination."

What do you think about the new debt ceiling law?

It is just a scam! All of it! I just wished the American people would see the truth as well. We need to see a democratic revolution, similar to the ones in the Middle-east, in America as well. Yes it is THAT bad.
