For the sixth successive year, Londoners come together to show off the Capital’s green credentials with a festival of eco events happening from 1st to 21st of June.

Love London - Love Your Planet Festival, run by a partnership headed by London 21 Sustainability Network, encourages and enables community groups, charities, local councils, organisations and individuals to become event organisers, get themselves and their ideas noticed and help make London a showpiece for action against climate change.

Over 300 events are expected this year, and the Love London team hope to top the half a million attendees involved last year through seven main themes:

> Better London

> Better Business

> Better Food

> Better Journeys

> Better Spaces

> Better homes

> Better Planet

The main aims of this festival are :

> to make Londoners more aware of sustainable issues

> to induce them to take an active part against global warming

> to show how London is setting a sustainable example for other capitals across the world
