  1. Hello

Hello, I am new to this forum, so I decided to introduce myself. My name is Tammy. I am very intrested in preserving the earth, so I thought it would be great to join this forum. I look forward to getting to know everyone!!
  2. New recipes?

Wow Cecille that looks like a very tasteful dish. I may have to try it one day.One of my favorite recipes is charred ginger chile corn. Here's how you make it: 3 tbs. canola oil 3 cups fresh corn kernels cut from the cob(4to 5 ears) 2 1/2 tbs. minced fresh ginger 1 medium jalapeno chile, seeded and minced (about 2 tbs.) 4 large garlic cloves, minced salt and freshly ground black pepper How to Cook: 1. heat skillet over high heat until smoking 2. Add oil and heat briefly. Put in the corn, and spread it evenly; let it sit for at least one minute 3. Stir in ginger and chile for about one minute; and stir in garlic and remove from stove 4. Add salt and pepper and enjoy!
  3. Favorite animal

I love both cats and dogs. Dogs are very loving, loyal, and funny. I have two dogs and one cat. I like rabbits too, but I don't know anything about them, I would love to have one and learn about it. I agree mosquitoes are about the most hated creatures. I can't stand them!
  4. I believe in Global Warming, but not the way that the world leaders are presenting it to us. Our world has been through ice ages, droughts, land slides, volcanic eruptions, and more before. And this was before we had even invented cars. If cars and trains didn't exist, the climate today would still be warmer than it was a thousand years ago. But it wouldn't nearly as high as it is, and these extremely prowerful storms wouldn't be nearly as severe as it is. So I think that this is a natural process.
  5. Do you use bicycle?

I couldn't get away with it one hundred percent without putting some serious kinks in my lifestyle, but it does save me a ton of money on gas. I can't do all my shopping on it though, so I still have to have my car. It is a time saver. I only use my bike when I travel short distances.
  6. I do everything you mentioned on your list except for plant trees.Turning off the lights is an easy and simple thing to do and it really does help. It saves energy and money. We always recycle paper instead of throwing them in the garbage. Sometimes we buy recycle paper which also helps. We also unplug things like game systems, cell phone chargers, and radios when we are not using them.
