  1. New recipes?

Heya guys! I'm always on the look out for great new recipes. I love to cook but the only hang up we have is I'm a vegetarian and my guy isn't. I'm really good about adjusting a recipe to either change it to a vegetarian one or the other way around. We are saving up for a move...gotta get out of the desert and get some green therapy lol. So we are trying to pinch pennies as much as we can so any ways to cut food costs would be great too. So what are your favorite recipes? I can't wait to try some new ones out and thanks in advance!

  5. Heya From Dee

Welcome Dee! I used to live in TN and if I'm honest with myself, I really miss the mountains and the green. Not so many trees here in the desert! Next time it rains, go out and have a dance in it for me :)
  6. Thank you so much for this post. I tend to do most that's on the list already but I definitely need to work on others. I better buckle down!
  7. What are your favorite foods?

I'm a vegetarian so it goes without saying I love veggies! My favorite meal has got to be roasted veggies. I just throw together whatever is in season at the time. I just made it the other night and had asparagus, yellow squash, zucchini, green beans, mushrooms, I throw on some (ok a lot) of garlic, fresh herbs like rosemary, basil, oregano and parsley. Then drizzle a little olive oil on the top and finish with some crushed red peppers (cause spicy is yum!). Give it a toss and throw it in a really hot oven and roast until brown and crispy on the edges...oh goodness I've made myself hungry!
  8. Soapnuts nature's detergent

I love soapnuts! They clean so well and I feel so good about doing one more thing for the environment. They can be difficult to find but there are lots of places online that sell and ship them. Definitely something you should look into!
