International Fuel Strike!!

On JUNE 30th 2008.

Please join the international strike against the exorbitant rising fuel costs by;

NOT USING YOUR PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLE, TRUCK, AND BUS ETC TILL THE PRICE OF FUEL DECREASES BACK TO THE 2005 PRICES.

With the combined strength of the whole international community we (as a people) can accomplish anything!

If you feel as strong as your neighbors do about the rising cost of fuel, then this is your chance to stand up with you neighbor and let your voice be heard.

INSTEAD OF ATTENDING OUR DAILY JOBS, WE ARE TO MARCH ONTO OUR LOCAL AND REGIONAL GOVERNMENT DOORSTEPS AND DEMAND CHANGE!! WITH INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE BEING FORCED TO GRIND TO A HALT, THE WORLD WILL LISTEN! THAT’S GUARANTEED!!

No company/es have the right to throw its weight around in the manner in which the oil industry currently is!! How dare they hold YOU, the community to ransom just to ensure they make a profit……. REGARDLESS OF THE COST!!

SO PLEASE JOIN YOUR FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS AND WORK COLLEAGUES AND STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!

Please forward this letter to everyone in your email contacts and together we can initiate some real change!!

The oil industry is just doing their job.

You should blame this on the politicians and the car industry that have encouraged and invested heavily in the gas-guzzling and oil-junkie path to destruction we are currently walking on.

The oil and gas prices will keep rising, and there is nothing you or me can do about it.

Also, the increased gas prices in USA should be celebrated. "A further price rise as in Europe to $8 a gallon - or $200 and more to fill a large SUV's tank - would be a catalyst for economic, political and social change of profound national and global impact. We could face an economic squeeze, but it would be the pain before the gain."

If a lot of people actually listen to you....A lot of vehicles will be out of commission completely by the time, if ever, the goal is reached. A lot of jobs will be lost. A lot of man hours will be lost as a total for the US. The economy will be even deeper in the crapper. The dollar drop like a mexican's pants after he wins the burrito eating contest.

Haha, the US economy is going down the pipes due to the fact that you haven't invested in the future, the green and sustainable sector.

Why do you think all the big and old US car makers are doing so badly? Because they aren't giving the consumers what they want and need unlike the Asian auto makers.
